Breathtakingly Beautiful Great Room

Project Overview:

As you enter the home, the large two-story Great Room greets you with its grandeur and elegance. Our client’s primary goal was to create a space that would elicit a resounding “WOW” from friends and guests as they stepped inside. And we made sure to deliver.

Beyond the Great Room, a magnificent wall of windows offers a seamless view of an outdoor oasis—a captivating space that includes a sparkling swimming pool, an inviting outdoor kitchen, and a lounging area designed for relaxation and entertainment.

To enhance the visual appeal, we dressed the two-story wall overlooking the pool with long cream drapery panels hung at staggered heights from rustic short rods. This design choice beautifully complements the rustic hardwood floors below. Against the backdrop of a rich blue accent wall, the cream-colored draperies exude elegance and provide a stunning contrast. The blue accent wall serves as a conduit, bringing the essence of the blue skies into the room, connecting the interior with the great outdoors.

The red brick fireplace underwent a remarkable transformation. We refaced it with exquisite white Carrara marble, carefully arranged in a captivating herringbone pattern. By removing the bulky hearth, we created a sleek and modern focal point that effortlessly commands attention in the room.

Flanking each side of the fireplace, two large etageres proudly display a curated selection of accessories that harmonize perfectly with the space. These decorative elements add depth and personality to the room, enhancing its overall allure.

In this newly designed space, every detail has been carefully considered and crafted to create an atmosphere of awe-inspiring beauty and refined elegance. The KD Designs Custom Interiors Team also transformed the Primary Bedroom and Guest Quarters.
