Project Overview:

Serenity and masculine sophistication are the perfect words to describe this client’s newly designed primary bedroom. This sanctuary was crafted with the intention of providing a serene haven to unwind after a long day. The vision was to create a crisp, clean hotel-like ambiance with a touch of simple elegance.

The windows are adorned with plantation shutters, offering a sleek and upscale appearance that exudes freshness and cleanliness. A neutral color palette of varying shades of grays and whites sets the foundation, creating a calming atmosphere that promotes relaxation.

Incorporating gray wood tones in the furnishings adds depth and masculinity to the room. The upholstered bed and bench offer soft textures, providing a cozy and inviting space. As you enter the room, your eyes are drawn to the unique and one-of-a-kind open square nightstands that flank each side of the bed. Combined, their presence makes a grand statement, adding an additional element of sophistication to the room’s design.

Grounding the space with comfort underfoot is a plush gray and white area rug. Its subtle geometric patterns beautifully complement the various shapes within the furnishings, adding a harmonious balance to the overall aesthetic.

The bedding and linens were carefully chosen to create a crisp and clean hotel feel. The simplicity of the design adds to the room’s overall elegance, while providing a welcoming retreat at the end of a busy day. This bedroom seamlessly combines elements of simplicity, elegance, and comfort to create a space that invites relaxation and rejuvenation. The KD Designs Team also transformed the Great Room and Guest Quarters.
