FAQ

Q: Where are you located?

A: We come to you! However, there may be occasions when an appointment may be scheduled at our studio which is located in the Rte 100 Office Park at 1745 Dorsey Rd, Suite E, Hanover, MD 21076

Q: Do I have to take off work in order to work with an Interior Designer?

A: We work to be as accommodating to your schedule as possible. We typically meet with clients during regular business hours but can make special arrangements when needed.

Q: What happens at my first appointment?

A: Prior to our Initial Consultation, we will have already completed a complimentary Discovery Call by phone. This call allows us both to assess and ensure that we are a great potential match to work together. We will have the basics of your project to make the in-home Initial Consultation more efficient. When we arrive, take a brief tour of your home. This allows us to see your style (or discuss a change in style), colors, and discuss the function of the room(s) in the home. We also talk about which projects you may want to begin immediately, or in phases down the road. We take photos and basic measurements. We review again how we work with you, discuss next steps, and answer any questions you have.

Q: How do I determine a budget for my project?

A: It is good to have an idea of what you’d like to invest in your project before we meet. We can help you determine the appropriate budget for the scope of the project. We have a wide array of vendors and product offerings, so we are able to design within most budgets.

Q: Do you shop with me in other stores?

A: No. We do not offer one-on-one shopping services. We bring everything to you in the comfort and convenience of your home or sometimes in our studio. We work directly with over 125 trade manufacturers, offering everything you could need or want for your home, saving you time and money.

Q: What’s the timeframe to get everything in?

A: The final reveal day occurs when all of your items have arrived. Lead times will vary depending on the type of products ordered. Custom items have the longest lead times which also vary by vendor – some are as quick as six to eight weeks and others take much longer. Non-custom items typically arrive within four weeks. We will always provide lead times prior to making selections or placing orders and we give you progress updates throughout your project.
